Jurlique Beauty & Style Feature

One of my go-to natural skin care brands, Jurlique, has recently launched a blog where they share skin care tips and tell more about their amazing products. I was asked to guest contribute with my favorite fashion trends of the season, and to tell more about my skin care routine and philosophy, and personal style. Unfortunately the feature is in Finnish, but you can try to use google translate or let the pictures speak for themselves. You can read the feature here.

A Timeless Everyday Bag

I’ve decided to buy a timeless bag for everyday use – a bag with no expiry date attached – and I would like to settle for something a little bit ladylike. I’ve listed a selection of my top choices below – both new arrivals and classics from previous seasons. Right now my actual top choices are ‘Hava’ shoulder bag by Proenza Schouler, which is my latest bag crush, and ‘Le Dix’ by BALENCIAGA that has become a modern classic and has been on my wish list for many years. However, I would have to buy ‘Le Dix’ in second hand because the line has been discontinued. For once I’m feeling rather indecisive.

The Sunday Selection

It’s been a quiet week just before the fashion month which kicks off in Stockholm today. I’ve decided to focus on my studies this time around, though I might try to squeeze in a trip Paris in March. Anyhow, these are some of my favorite piccies from the past week:

@FINGERMONKEY ”Living in the shadow of big sis @lolococo” – Camille Rowe looking stylish as ever wearing Gucci sunnies.

@TOTEME ”Coming soon – Noma checked shirt. A spring essential #toteme” – definitely on my wish list.

@PROTAGONISTNYC ”Our Draped Slip Dress in Ivory, available exclusively from @libertylondon #resort17” – the perfect dress in the perfect color, maybe I need to swing a trip to London.

@AQUABUMPS ”Happy Australia Day! Few waves to be had in drizzly sun showers.” – missing Australia more than ever, maybe because I know I can bounce back before the end of the year. Finally.

@ELINKLING ”Morning coffee” – how I’d rather spend my weekend.

Decor Crush: Curvy Lounge Chair

I went to a book store earlier today to buy the third cookbook by Ella Mills (aka Deliciously Ella, and yes, I am actually trying to learn how to cook) and The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k, but eventually I found myself browsing through interior design and architecture books, as always, which are my favorite sort of coffee table books. I found an interesting one on Richard Neutra which I regret not buying.  Anyhow, I will try to share more chic interior design inspiration in the future, because weekends are perfect for decor dreaming, no? The PK24 lounge chair was designed in 1965 by Poul Kjaerholm for Fritz Hansen, and since then it has become a true classic which never goes out of style –  it is extremely pricey which is why less would definitely be enough, but if I had to name one lounge chair …

Spring Essentials

   Essentiasl from My Wardrobe

I could start with what I’ve been up to lately – I ruined my favorite white blouse the other day. Even my dry cleaner could not save it, oh well, clothes are meant to be worn, right? I’ve also sold one of my bags (oh my, rip Gucci), but I think it is important to know when to let things go, especially when a piece in your wardrobe no longer feels right. Anyhow, these are my current wardrobe favorites. Sandals will need to stay inside a while longer, but that blazer, it is the perfect blazer! I bought it almost two months ago and could not be happier.
