Raw Denim And Neutral Tones

Suede and raw denim count as my lifelong love affairs, but right now I am very into light neutral tones. I’ve been lusting after coats, knitwear and bags in beige and oatmeal, but the piece that stands out is ‘Coco’ pump by THE ROW. I can only wish.

There is another investment I’d like make eventually when I enter the life of a working woman – a watch by CARTIER. I think I’ve decided which one it is going to be.

Protagonist Fall 2017

It feels so wrong to talk about fall fashion when it is the first beautiful spring day (makes Monday feel so much better) but lets just stop for a moment to appreciate the effort that goes into making desirable clothes at PROTAGONIST. Georgia Lazzaro has a grip on creating pieces for a wardrobe which is classic and considered, but never fails to look interesting. Once again the coat game is strong! I also love the flared skirts and slip dresses.

You can already pre-order the collection here via Moda Operandi until the 6th of March. How good is that!

Boots of the Moment

I want to introduce you to my latest obsession – suede ankle boots by MIU MIU. The sculptural block heel adds that little extra which makes the boots look interesting while maintaining limitless styling options. Pure perfection!

The Best of NYFW

My favorite show was THE ROW – Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen know how to make sure enough effort goes into each piece which creates a luxurious feel. The coat game is strong paired up with masculine boots.

It is all about the details: there have been a lot of embroideries and logos around lately, also at PROENZA SCHOULER for fall, but I prefer the tiny writings on clothes at THE ROW which you can barely notice.

Raf Simons’ first show as the creative director of CALVIN KLEIN COLLECTION delivered a modern look and electric feel. More colours; the yellow coat steals the attention, suiting up is going to be big in the fall, and I love his take on double denim.

Beauty wise I’ve always adored the bright red lip which often occurs at JASON WU. Very chic and timeless!

Wish List: Spring Silhouette

This season I want to maintain a sense of ease and comfort and introduce soft elements to my style, and as I’ve mentioned before, I am into the slim silhouette right now. This is a wish list that reflects the way I want to dress up in the spring. I’ve actually ordered the ‘Noma’ checked blouse and the glossed slingback pump by Prada is going to be the new shoe for my wardrobe. Cannot wait to wear them!
