The Dream Destination MARGOT HOUSE

It’s getting colder and darker here in Norway and the only thing we’re thinking about it’s a weekend getaway to someplace little bit warmer and lighter – as well as we need some days off to do some refilling of our fall/winter wardrobe. And what better place to make all these wishes reality than in a big city in Spain! We’re thinking about Barcelona of course; city, beach, warm and shopping friendly at the same time. Our dream destination without doubt at the moment, especially when we came over this super chic and central boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona!
Margot House is a luxury mini hotel with a total of nine rooms, where all of them are made to make you feel at home while you’re actually in the middle of Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona. The modern yet warm design makes this cute mini hotel the perfect place to relax after a long shopping day – a place you really want to spend more than five minutes to change and get out again. The hotel was first ment to be another Natura Casa store – a decoration store – but instead the owners took their decoration and made a stylish hotel with it and we love it!

So what do pack to a short weekend trip without packing to much (so you don’t have space to all the new-ins) or to little (because of course you need to look good in a city like Barcelona)? Think simple and wearable pieces with a twist, like a patent leather skirt – that can be dressed up and down depenting on the occation. For daytime match it with a t-shirt and a hoodie and for late night dinners switch out the hoodie with a fine knitted turtleneck that’ll keep you warm enough. And whatever you do, don’t forget your sneakers and a tote bag with a loooot of space if you’re planning on running around being a tourist (ehehe, shopping)!
Hoodie from H&M, jeans from Totême, skirt from Zara, turtleneck from Zara, sneakers from Nike, bag from Tom Ford and sunglasses from Acne.
