One Garment Three Occasions THE SLIP-IN DRESS

So, the weekend is (finally) just around the corner and whatever you’re doing this weekend – or just anytime – you’ll want to have a layed back slip-in dress in your wardrobe! Why? Well, the combinations and styles are too many when you find the perfect one and this one from H&M (for 149 Norwegian crowns!!) is a real catch – the perfect everyday dress as well as it could be your christmas-party favo! From work and shopping, to late night dinners and tooo many drinks – here is how to work the slip-dress for any occasion by making it look new from time to time!

Work: Play with layers and materials for everyday wear, either it’s for the office or a shopping round. Not only does layers look super chic as well as dressed down, they’re also super smart! Just take one of when it’s getting too hot (we mean, when your shopping bags gets too heavy).

Dinner: For late night dinners we like keeping it casual in a feminine way – just so we can eat whatever we like without thinking about all the food showing underneath our clothes. A chrispy white shirt is always a good idea, just go for one with a oversized fit and elegant details (like the puffer sleeves above) and voíla both problems solved; no food showing, as well as having a killer look. Add some sparkles in the ears and some contrast with a boyish jacket.

Night out: Just take it all out for a good old night out with the office or your ladies – let your look scream elegance! Silk on silk, fur and some super high boots. And of course top it all with some chunky diamonds around your neck! A playful and modern touch to the sophisticated women.
