The Mini Travel Guide COPENHAGEN

Even though we didn’t really have the time to look around and explore in beautiful Copenhagen while on Fashion Week, we did manage to catch some good spots to share with you – until next time! Because we’ll definitely be visiting Copenhagen in the nearest future and belive us, we’ll be back with even more goodies! But until then, here is a Mini-Guide to where to stay, eat and shop – and even though it’s not much, these spots are really worth visiting!
This time we stayed at the Boutique hotel The Square. Super central, with a simple yet delicate design and a great breakfast! Definitely a good stay of you want to be in the heart of the city and staying nice for a great price. If you want more luxe, there is always the well know (and too beautiful, yet kind of very pricey) D’Angleterre – which by a quick visit and all the Insta-posts looks kind of worth it!

Top: MAIO and bottom Atelier September.
There are a lot of great breakfast/lunch spots in Copenhagen – the city is actually quite known for its modern food and coffee places. Sadly we didn’t have time to visit all we wanted, but of course we managed to step by one of the favorites Atelier September. A must-eat when there is of course the avokado sandwich, that is both perfect for breakfast and lunch. But add an boiled egg on the side if you’re a bit more hungry. The tea is also a must! So delicious – not to mention it’s coming in super nice and big mugs! Just how we like our tea to be served.
The dinner/late night drinks spots in Copenhagen are soooo good and we wish we had more time to do dinners while on Fashion Week (but we barely had time to sit down anywhere). Still, we did have time to step by the new Restaurant MAIO – which is a part of the new Rooftop Restaurants at Illum. Great location (and the perfect post-shopping dining spot!), pleasant atmosphere and of course good food and wine.
We also stopped by the classic, Cafe Norden as well and it’s never a bad idea. There is always something (or actually a lot of things!) you want to eat. Like for instance a burger-combo plate, nachos, or just a cheesecake and wine!

And now, to one of our favorites; Copenhagen shopping! Let’s just say there is no place in Scandinavia like Copenhagen when it comes to shopping; everything from shoes and clothes, to accessories to furniture and art. We love you for it Copenhagen! Even though shopping wasn’t out top priority, we found an hour or two to do some shopping; and first step Illum. There you can find all the designers you need, both beauty, shoes, bags and clothes. And if you’re lucky, this is the place you’ll find your favorite design pieces on sale!
And, you don’t leave Copenhagen without stepping by the beautiful Holly Golightly stores, where you’ll find the pieces you don’t find anywhere! Pricey? Maybe, but in return you’ll have a all-time piece (that you won’t see on everybody). Other favorites are Boyy, Ganni and & Other Stories.
