(Affiliate) If there is one thing that really has to be on point – in every way – when traveling it’s definitely the footwear! As well as being suitable for the destination, it has to be good looking. Not to mention it has to be comfy (at least one or two of the pairs you bring)! Because there is really nothing more annoying than hurting feet when exploring and just wanting to enjoy the days off – who can enjoy when hurting? We can’t and after many successes and even more failure we’ve learned (probably the hard way) and here is our ultimate summer shoes guide for hot travels! Shop your favorites below each carousel:
For long flights (or maybe even longer drives) there is nothing more comfy than all types of sneakers! Especially those with shocks or in a thin and soft material. But if wanting to be a more feminine while traveling a pair of round tip ballerinas or loafers in delicate leather is a great choice – not to mention they make you night-out ready the moment you arrive your destination when styled with some black pants and a white tee!
Tortoiseshell sneakers from Nike, samba sneakers from Adidas, All Star sneakers from Converse, slip-on sneakers from Eytys, Stan Smith sneakers from Adidas, ballerinas from Miu Miu, loafers from Church’s, loafers from Loewe, ballerinas from Lanvin and loafers from Gucci.
THE BEACH SANDALS
For lazy beach-days there is only one rule; as light and airy as possible! The most classic flip-flops for sandy beaches (so you don’t need to worry about ruining the details) and a bit more elegance and glam for pool hangouts in a bit more detailed sandals. Maybe even some gladiators or espadrilles if you want the extra touch-up!
Wraparound espadrilles from Altuzarra, wraparound sandals from Marques’Almeida, bow slides from Ancient Greek, espadrilles from Castañer, linen sandals from Ancient Greek, flip flops from TKEES, satin slides from Balenciaga, cutout slides from ATP Atelier, bow slides from Prada and gladiator sandals from K Jacques St Tropez.
THE EVENING CHOICE
…and when the night falls, put you flats away for a couple of hours. Kitten heels, block heels or maybe even high mules with a good fall! A favorite model of ours this season is those with wrap-around ties, that adds the finish, elegant yet playful touch to the outfit. If the heels gets to high or your feet are just too tired of all the day-walking, keep a pair of flat shoes near. We always back one pair of more ‘dressed-up’ flats, like for instance a pair of pointy flats or detailed ballerinas.
