Sunday Dreaming 4 ASIAN PEARLS WORTH VISITING IN 2018

We know we might seem a bit bipolar when it comes to travels; one week we’re all about the hottest mountain getaways, the other we just can’t get enough of uber exotic spots. And we actually are – there are simply just too many places we want to visit yet not enough vacation days. That’s another discussion. Anyways, this week we’re mindscaping the cold to some places quite far away from our reality, both weatherwise and when it comes to the distance. We’re talking about diverse Asia and we have some specific destinations in mind:

RAJA AMPAT ISLANDS, INDONESIA
Raja Ampat is an archipelago of over 15,000 small islands north-east of Bali – so you can see the place like and island hopping vacay. This place is far more than just beautiful. It’s for instance a snorkel paradise, as well as it has uncountable amounts of hidden beaches. If this ain’t a dream destination in 2018, we don’t know what is.

HA LONG BAY, VIETNAM
Ha long bay in Vietnam is known for the emerald water and beautiful rainforest. A little fun fact; the islands are named after their shape, like stone dog and teapot islets. People go here for scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking. We would visit just to enjoy its beauty (and maybe do a thing or two if we get bored of mother nature).

SHWEDAGON PAGODA, MYANMAR
The Shwedagon Pagoda is the biggest, most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Maynmar – and it looks spectacular! The pagoda is around 105(!) meter high and it’s said to be over 2,500 years old. This building is a must-see, and is definitely on my favorite list of 2018.

EL NIDO PHILIPPINES
El Nido is a Philippine municipality on Palawan island. White sand beaches as long as the eye can see, beautiful coral reefs and breathtaking clear water. Do we even need to continue? Oh, we almost forgot to mention the killer resorts (see top photot…).
