(Affiliate) It seems like sunglasses are having a thing lately. More than ever. At least in the fashion industry; you’ll see them everywhere, even when it’s not sunny. They’ve become just as important as a good bag or some statement shoes. In my (K) case they’re even more important – I can leave my house without my bag, but never my sunnies. They’re always in close distance, both in summer and wintertime – not to mention when traveling. We all know those post-travel bags too well right?
As for most details, my favorites (or should I say my preferences) changes quite randomly, and speaking in terms of the style of my sunnies, they’ve been changing quite rapidly the last year (probably since I’ve never worn more sunnies that I’ve done the past year). This summer it was all about my cat eye sunnies from Le Specs, as well as a couple of uber thin vintage sunnies. The last couple of months on the other hand I’ve been changing the rules to the total opposite; to a sunglass-trend I never thought I’d ever return to. The futuristic one, or space-age if you like. I remember a tinted, blue space moment I had in 2005; they where huge, plastic and made me look quite fast with my uber slick ponytail. Looking back I always told myself I’ll never go back, and I probably won’t go blue again, (at least not yet), but I’m definitely going space-age.
I wan’t my sunnies big, D-framed or aviators, sometimes even slim and fast for a change; but they have to be one step (or two) ahead. Now if you still haven’t got your hands on a pair of space-ies, now is the time to! Gathered below are 17 models you should consider:
