Speaking about Airbnb’s new ‘luxury department’ earlier this month, we haven’t been able to stop scanning the ‘home away from home collector’ for our coming and wishing travels. We’re of course talking about real dream destinations; the ones with that little extra, either if it’s thanks to its location, a special room, design, or facilities. And even though this pearl you’re very soon about to fall in love with isn’t (yet) marked as ‘Airbnb Pluss’ we haven’t been able to let it go, because let’s be honest: How gorgeous is this stay?!
Say hi to Yui Vallet Traditional House; a dream of a home somewhere between Tokyo and Kyoto in a traditional farmers village in Japan’s country side (that is by the way SO underestimated!). Surrounded by green mountains, bamboo forests, rivers and large green tea fields, how can this not be a dream? Not to mention the killer Japanese interior and design – that both our mind and Instagram would definitely appreciate! We already imagine ourself staying here for a week or two to just detox from the rest of the world. Do you?
For a relaxing, detox stay like this, we wouldn’t pack more than necessary and especially nothing that’s not uber comfy, and could make us feel uncomfortable. There is simply just something about taking the feel of the stay the whole way; into how you dress, what you eat, even how you thing and what you do. To reflect and suit the home and the state of mind we would be in at this place, we’re thinking airy, airy and even mor airy. Wide garments, in delicate materials and simple colors and shapes. Kaftans, long shirts, wide skirts and pants and comfy flats – or maybe some sneakers. And of course we do have some specific garments in mind:
