(Affiliate) What’s a party without a good makeup look? And who’s better to guide us through party makeup than one of the prettiest (and most skillful!) girls we know – beauty blogger Emilie Tømmerberg.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE LOOK THIS PARTY SEASON?

Smokey eyes in warm tones, with just a little shimmer added to my eyelids. Preferably with nude lips and glowing skin.

… AND WHAT’S YOUR KEY PRODUCTS FOR THIS LOOK?

Nice and glowing skin is my number one priority. So, if time, I start with a mild enzyme peeling and a face mask. Sensai Silk Peeling Powder and Shiseido Pure Retinol Intensive Revitalizing Face Mask are big favorites. After that I use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation. This provides a light cover, simultaneously as it can (easily!) be built up – and provides a mate glow – perfect for festivities!

Highlighter is a must and here I got plenty of favorites: Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Powder Highlighter are my newest discoveries. They provide a beautiful and delicate shimmer. Charlotte Tilbury’s eyeshadow palette in Golden Godess is so fantastic! I love the warm, beautiful colors in browns.

Face mask from Shiseido, silk Peeling Powder from SensaiMatte Radiance Powder from Laura Mercier, foundation from Giorgio Armani and eyeshadow from Charlotte Tilbury.

FAKE LASHES OR NOT? IF YES, INDIVIDUAL OR NORMAL?

I used to be more found of them earlier, now I feel better without them. The look can be a bit much, I think. If any I would choose individuals, which I would place strategically far out for a cat eye effect.

ANY TRICKS TO NAIL THOSE LASHES?

For normal lashes, remember to adjust them to your eye size. Individuals are easier to handle, and the best way is to let the glue dry a little before you apply your lashes. I also like to apply the lashes before I put on mascara. This way it’s easier to see how many lashes you actually need.

WHAT PRODUCTS WILL WE FIND IN YOUR PURSE?

Helena Rubinstein Magic Concealer, Chanel Les Beiges Powder nr 50, Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner in Pillow Talk, Rouge d’Armani Sheers in 513, Chanel Rouge Allure in 168, Clarins Lip Perfecter in 02 and Carmex. Always a lot of lips products!

Translucent Loose Powder from SensaiPrep and Prime Fix+ from Mac, lipgloss from Clarins, lipstick from Chanel, lipstick from Giorgio Armani, lipliner from Charlotte Tilbury, powder from Chanel, foundation from Giorgio Armani and eyeshadow from Charlotte Tilbury.

BEST WAY TO MAKE YOUR MAKEUP LAST?

A good foundation: Peel your skin regularly-1-3 times a week, use good skincare products preferably hydrating- but avoid oily alternatives. Choose a mate foundation and setting powder. My favorite is Sensai Translucent Loose Powder. This makes sure the makeup sticks- without drying  you skin out or having the products end up in lines. To finish off I use a good hydrating spray: Mac Prep and Prime Fix+ spray is a big favorite.
