Caroline, A Style Journey
A short book is always a motivating book and this holiday we’re planning on quality over quantity. Therefore we’re going for three all time classics, all less than 202 pages (one is 201). Now, there’s a slight chance we don’t get through all of them… but if we do, these are the books we’ll brag about by the end of april.
1. DREAMPLAY – AUGUST STRINDBERG
Sweden’s big author August Strindberg is feeling sorry for the humans (or at least his main character is) – and we wanna know why! That’s why we’re going for what Strindberg is said to refer to as«his most beloved play» and it’s only 137 pages!
2. BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S – TRUMAN CAPOTE
We cannot wait to explore the depths of the story behind Audrey Hepburn’s epic portrayal of Holly Golightly. 158 pages of history, bring it!
3. THE GREAT GATSBY – F. SCOTT FITZGERALD
This classic has hunted us since we read it ten years ago (yes, at school) and it’s time to revisit our longest book this round: The Great Gatsby – written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and obviously the book behind Baz Luhrmann’s great film. 210 pages of lavish parties and tragic faits are soon to come our way.
