Stephanie wearing boots from Céline.
Stephanie Gundelach is a Danish stylist and creative consultant who has recently moved to Paris. I remember seeing her for the first time at Copenhagen Fashion Week last year in August, which was such a thrill because I have been following her forever. Stephanie is a classic beauty – tall and otherwordly gorgeous, and she is currently almost due with her first child. As told by Stephanie:
Tell me about your style? What brands do you wear?
My style is quite classic with a masculine touch. I often start out with a really classic uniform like suit pants and a blazer, and I like to add on from there. I like contrasts; something patent, a mens t-shirt or something colorful to make the outfit look more interesting. My go to brands are Joseph, Prada, Jacquemus and Acne Studios.
You work as a stylist and creative consultant. How did you end up where you are right now and does your personal style influence your work?
I’ve worked many years as a entrepreneur in the fashion industry and ended up with so many projects that I lost focus. Now I use all the experience that I got and channel it into consulting and styling jobs for various brands. I guess the more accurate title would be art director. I love creating a universe from A to Z around an idea. My personal style very much influences my work but it’s important that the brand plays the main character and that their story is told in the best way possible.

What are you going to buy next?
I’m 9 months pregnant and nothing fits, so right now I’m on the lookout for XL cashmere knits, silky slip dresses and a coat from Céline that I can wrap myself in the next few months.
Which are favourite beauty and skincare products?
I can’t live without my B-active cleanser and skin tonic from Environ, which I use day and night. My skin was often out of balance before and that has certainly changed. I haven’t had a breakout since I started using them! I also keep my skin moist with Skin Food from Weleda.
How do you take care of your wellbeing?
Normally I work out a few times a week and I was just about to start boxing when I found out I was pregnant, so now I don’t do a lot, but I started meditating and I try to treat myself with a massage as often as possible. I’m also addicted to body SDS, which I’ve been doing every month for 7 years now. It’s a Danish invention that focuses on the connection between body and mind. Body-SDS massage is working on the entire body, muscles, organs, joints, and respiration and it makes me feel more balanced.
What are favourite travel destinations?
I recently moved to Paris, so my favorite travel destination at the moment is my hometown Copenhagen. I miss the fresh air, the ocean, the traditional Danish food and the freedom that comes with being able to bike around everywhere.
